One of Jess Franco’s most important films, made after his return to Spain. Like much of his work, it’s based on a story by the Marquis de Sade. It’s a remake of Plaisir a Trois, but is made in a totally different style. He experiments by shooting in a series of long, graceful takes, carefully rehearsed beforehand.
Antonio Mayans invites a young woman (Lina Romay) to his sea front villa. He lives there with a servant/slave and is awaiting the release of his schizophrenic wife from an asylum. Apart from the 3 women, there is also the simple minded Fenul, played by cameraman Juan Soler and voiced by Jess Franco himself. What follows is an orgy of sex, torture and betrayal.
