AKA A Girl Called Jules AKA Jet Set Swingers
La Ragazza di nome Giulio (released in English speaking countries as “A Girl Called Jules” and also as “Jet Set Swingers”) the 1970 Tonino Valerii French/Italian romantic sex melodrama (“The impact of ‘Tango'”; “The sensuality of ‘Emmanuelle'”; “The high-living lovers who fly from bed to bed.”; “The beautiful people who play around the world”; “They Live High… They Love High the beautiful people who play around the world”), starring Silvia Dionisio, Gianni Macchia, Esmeralda Ruspoli, Tonino Valerii, Maurizio Degli Esposti, Anna Moffo, and Maurizio Degli Esposti.
This description forgot to mention that John Steiner is also in it, that Stelvio Massi did the cinematography, and of course that Riz Ortolani did the OST 🙂
Here is the only IMDB comment :
“After his Western triumphs, Valerii stepped out of the shadow of Sergio Leone with this distinctly Bergmanesque sexual melodrama.Dionisio is perfect in the title role and this remains her best film, Valerii turns up along the way too. Just when the film hits a period of auto pilot John Steiner turns up in the final reel for a climax that is quite unforgettable. A bit difficult to trace but well worth the effort.”
